Our team includes qualified welding engineers with with long-standing experience in metallurgical and mechanical engineering. We support a broad range of companies throughout North America (Canada, USA and Mexico) with their CWB certification, WPS/WPDS development, welding design and analysis, quality control, process improvement, & welding repair procedures.

Structural Welding Compliance Service

Our knowledge and experience of structural codes and standards ensure the delivery of world class CWB welding engineering services, in accordance with CSA W59 and W59.2 as well as AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.5, D1.6 and D14.3. We provide welding engineering services to companies that require Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certification to any Division including registration application, WPS/WPDS preparation, shop/site visits and other engineering supports as a component of their CSA W47.1 and W47.2 certification.

Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & Welding Procedure Data Sheet (WPDS)

These essential documents provide instructions for your welding process parameters and variables which have to be submitted to the CWB for approval before going into fabrication. Whether you need a prequalified WPDS, as per CSA W47.1, CSA W59, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.3 or AWS D1.6, to enable you to smoothly enter fabrication phase, or whether your project requires a WPDS with Procedure Qualification Testing (PQR) before being finalized, we are here to support you.
